Cosutanu Hall
Cosutanu Hall is a large, two storey stone structure with a central facade of cut limestone blocks, and wings on either side constructed in rubbled masonry with limestone coursing. A foundation stone at the base of the plinth beside the stairs leading to the main entrance indicates construction was completed in 1087.
The main entrance is grand, open all the way to the dome of the roof with a double spiral stair looping overhead. The floor is tiled in ceramic, in a modern decorative motif reflecting the more recent renovations of the structure. Beyond the entryway, the former ballroom on the main floor serves as a council chamber where meetings of public import are held. The Primar has a large office on the top floor directly above the council chamber, and the Consilieri share offices on either side. Mandatari appointed by Dileniu and Bulostioi also have offices here. Foncionari serve as assistants and perform various administrative and bureaucratic duties.
The rest of the building comprises some thirty rooms laid out on two floors above ground, with a large cellar below ground for stores and records. Public records dating back to 1318 are well kept, but prior to that records are spotty at best.
In 1423, Cosutanu Hall serves as the administrative center of the area. Births and deaths are registered here, and land and travel taxes are collected. Members of the Grain Bank, and the Guild of Obrum, as well as members of the Mitriu, Nectria and Stoia families work with delegates from both Dileniu and Bulostioi to administer the village itself, as well as various land holdings within a radius of about 20 kilometers, supporting a local population of almost 6000, with 851 living in the village proper.
In face of the current situation the main council chamber has been converted into a kind of command center with the town council working round the clock to monitor the development of the outbreak, often sleeping in makeshift beds in various offices. Access to the building is controlled by a guard from the Order of the Flaming Sword.

21C using History or Lay of the Land (Bulostioi Region), (Dileniu Region) or (Cosutanu) skillHistorically, Cosutanu Hall is the former manor home of the elven Cosutanu family, who were the feudal lords of the village in the late Imperial Era. Doma Cosutanu and her extended family are rumoured to have fled and gone into hiding during the unrest following the dissolution of the Kingdom. The home was looted and damaged, but soon appropriated by members of a temporary town council who claimed to have been given a lease by the Guild of Obrum.
By 1300, after over a century with very little maintenance, the building was in severe disrepair. Along with many of the structures and most of the land in the area the building was purchased by the Grain Bank of Bulostioi in 1313, and restoration was begun. In 1318, the building was turned over to the Cosutanu Council, to be used as the town hall for the village that was re-emerging.
