Doma Consilier Daciana Mitriu
Daciana Mitriu is a pleasant human woman in her early fiftes, well-mannered and well-dressed in accordance with her station. She is kinda and welcoming, and a pleasure to speak to - even in this dire time. Daciana is the head of the Mitriu family, and a prominent member of the Town Council of Cosutanu. She is the mother of Iordan, who she hopes to see take up an important position within the Grain Bank of Bulostioi.
Daciana is extremely intelligent and she chooses her words carefully, while seeming to do so effortlessly. She is too clever to act or appear suspicious, and her demeanour should never provide any cues as to her real agenda.
Daciana Mitriu can be found at Cosutanu Hall from dawn until about 10pm, and then at home at the Mitriu Estate.
TOPIC: the ghost
If the players inquire about the ghost, Daciana will share her thoughts discretely. Further, if she witnesses the player characters asking Lancer Caliban Nectria about the ghost, she will attempt to discretely get their attention and offer this information to them on her own. While Daciana does not particularly want the Nectria's past to be investigated too deeply, she does want the players to be distrustful of them.

Certainly this ghost and its potential focus on the Nectrias is most unsettling, but I suggest that your confidence and trust with them should be brokered with care. It pains me to say that even in this time of great need, we have reason to believe the Nectrias may hold a reserve of potions that might protect against the disease. They refuse to admit this, or to share any such things as might contribute to the public good.
TOPIC: removal of records from the archives
If the players ask Daciana about her recent activity in the archives, she will not deny having been into the archives at all, though she will not admit to what she was looking for or to what she found.

The archives? Why yes, certainly, I access the archives frequently for my work - building permits, questions about property boundaries, referencing contracts the village has had with different tradespersons over the years to ensure we receive fair pricing - that sort of thing. I don't believe I've been down there in over a month though. Why? Do you suppose something suspicious has happened in the archives?
TOPIC: Captain Bucur's whereabouts on 36 Bucket
If the players ask Daciana about the whereabouts of Captain Bucur on 36 Bucket, she will attempt to deflect. Following this question, she will get word to Crisandra right away to make excuses to ensure none of the party speaks with Captain Bucur.

36 Bucket? Why that's some time ago. The Captain is most trustworthy and does an excellent job, so I have no need to pay attention to his comings and goings. If you need more information, I suggest you speak with our butler, Crisandra, who manages the schedules of our staff. If anyone can tell you what his duty hours were that day, she can.
