Church of the Blessed Union Records

While the records kept by the Church are much more limited in scope than those kept by the town, they are in much better order. The Church keeps records of who the ministers of the Church were, as well as their professional records during the times they were here. It also keeps records of many births, deaths, marriages, or other ceremonial events as far as those were chosen to be registered at the Church by the faithful.

Note: these records are not necessarily found in the order listed below, it will be up to the Players to tell the Director what they are searching for, and for the Director to determine which records they might find given a particular search.

The Radulesc family name or variants of it that are reasonable to assume are different spellings in Royal Tuloszian, appear in the very earliest records. The family existed in this town from at least the time the Church was constructed.

Records prior to 820 are in several books that are badly water damaged and eaten by bugs. Projecting the number of books backwards in time from the rate of new books being created as of 820 suggests the Church first started keeping records in about 760.

There are many different birth, death and ceremonial registrations for Radulescs stretching over 500 years. These abruptly end with on 22 Fig, 1212 with 11 entries for deaths committed to the record on that date. These include: Gheorigu, Caliopia, Gorgu, Mariusz, Cristalia, and six others, but not Valor.

The Disciple of the Church from 1209 to 1212 was named Valor Radulesc. Valor Radulesc signed all the registrations in the Church records between these years. The last entry signed by Valor Radulesc is the last one prior to the entry on 22 Fig, 1212 that lists the deaths of 11 members of the Radulesc family.

On 22 Fig, 1212, Valor Radulesc was replaced as the Disciple and head of the Church here by Miriam Bornliu. Valor Radulesc’s name is stricken out in what looks like blood, and a sigil and the words Denuntatiu E Blespematiu inscribed next to his name.

On 30 Bee, 1209, Kosmina Lalupu was replaced as the Disciple and head of the Church here, but the name of the person who replaced her is illegible and stricken out in what looks like blood, and a sigil and the words Denuntatiu E Blespematiu in inscribed next to the stricken name.

Denuntatiu E Blespematiu

The phrase Denuntatiu E Blespematiu appears several times in the Church Records and also can be found scrawled over some of the murals in the Radulesc Tomb.

The religious phrase Denuntatiu E Blespematiu is Royal Tuloszian, literally translates to 'denounced and damned'. Written or pronounced by religious authorities, it is a form of excommunication reserved for extreme offenses.

Coins of Golmongarion

Coins of Golmongarion are magical coins, minted periodically by the Order of Golmongarion and enchanted to prevent the dead from rising as undead. The obverse side of these coins is usually stamped with a bust of St Zakari, the founder of the order, and a mint date for the specific run of coins. The reverse side of the coin is always stamped with the symbol of Golmongarion; the crossed shovel and scythe. Placing these coins over both eyes of a deceased individual who has been properly interred will prevent them from rising as undead regardless of any curses or infections they may suffer from. The coins will not remove these curses or infections, so if the coins are removed, such individuals will then be able to rise as undead.
