Luca Istrate
Luca Istrate is the Nectria family butler, a human in his 60s. He is short and slender, and dresses properly in a black wool tailcoat and black woolen breeches; attire probably too warm for the season. Luca is, in fact, older than any of the Nectria's themselves, having served as butler to Pawel Nectria's parents even before Pawel becamethe family patriarch. Luca is slim, grey-haired and balding, with a somehwhat subdued demeanor. He is very intelligent and discerning, and will always be polite and accomodating. He expects it is his lot in life to die in service of the Nectrias, and would rather die than do anything that would compromise them or his position with them.

TOPIC: Meeting with Nectria family on behalf of Bank of Bulostioi (Ignaciu Zgeseanu only)
If Ignaciu Zgeseanu presents himself to the Nectria Estate to discuss the Bank of Bulostioi's business, he will be expected and Luca Istrate will welcome him.

If the party inquires about security on the estate, Luca will assure them they are well guarded with competant, experienced security.

If the party inquires about Beatriche Nectria or the attack on her, or if they ask to see her, he will stick to the facts and will defer to the family about a possible meeting with her.

Doma Nectria was attacked by the ghost on the night of 18 Trowel. I was in the main house, and did not witness the event. Thankfully she was unharmed, but the poor woman is quite out of her wits. If you would like to speak to her, I will need to first check with the family.
TOPIC: death of Gavriela Nectria
If the party inquires about Gavriela Nectria, Luca will stumble a bit out of genuine sorrow. It is clear that he suffers the loss of the daughter quite profoundly, and likely carries the burden of that sorrow privately.

An unspeakable tragedy to be sure. She was a delightful girl… pardon me, I forget myself… she was an impressive woman, I should say. It has been hard for me, as I have served this family for near thirty years, and in my heart she lives still as an innocent child. A terrible loss the family, to Cosutanu, and also to the Bank of Bulostioi.
