Beatriche Nectria

 

Beatriche Nectria is an aging canis woman of about 40 years (making her 80 in human-equivalent terms). She is a meek, introspective woman. She is the elder sister of Pawel Nectria who never married, and thus was passed over to take over as head of the family. She is widely read and very intelligent, but is badly traumatized due first to her sorrow at the recent murder of her neice, and second to her own recent harrowing encoutner with the ghost.

Beatriche Nectria can only be found at the Nectria Estate, and can probably only be visited with permission of the family.

TOPIC: the ghost (if accompanied)

While the party will not be stopped from questioning Beatriche Nectria provided they are polite about it, in most situations, this conversation will happen under the tight supervision. If the party asks the Lancer Caliban Nectria if they can question his aunt about the ghost attack, it will be him present. Alternately, if Ignaciu Zgeseanu makes an impression on Pawel Nectria, he may be persuaded to let Ignacu speak with with his sister. of either Lancer Caliban Nectria who will insist Beatriche is too distraught to answer questions.

Both Pawel and Caliban (Pawel's son) are aware of their family history, and have heard the rumours that the ghost has creid out 'Nectria' before attacking. They suspect they know who the ghost is, and that it is seeing revenge against their family. They would prefer no one discover why the ghost would be so motivated, thus they will attempt to steer Beatriche away from mentioning certain facts about her enconter.

TOPIC: the ghost (if unaccompanied)

In the case that the party have found a way to talk to Beatriche privately, her response will be slightly more revealing.
