Princes and Princesses

Most religious traditions hold that beneath the Creators and the Siblings and Versai, there is a tier of lesser Celestials. These are generally held to be the children of the Siblings and Versai, and are commonly considered Princes and Princesses, though some of these may be considered Arkinghelii, or even lesser deities, depending on the religious tradition.

Beneath this tier of Celestial Princes and Princesses are the remainder of the Celestial host; the Arkinghelii and Inghelii, of whom there are hundreds. At this level, deities become harder to strictly define in terms of their ranks and powers, as these vary considerably between different relgious traditions.

Below are listed the most commonly accepted and uniformly defined Celestrial Princes and Princesses.

The Mistikak

Also known as the Daughters of Uleila. These three sisters are said to be the custodians of all magical an occult knowledge. Only one of them can see, only one of them can hear, and only one of them can smell (though which is which never seems to be consistent).

The Guerriak

Also known as the Tribunes of Scilisanthes, or the Generals of Scilisanthes. These are sometimes held to be the children of Scilisanthes, but more commonly they considered to have began as Inghelii or Arkinghelii who rose to their status through victory in battle. Either way, these five gods and goddesses of war represent the major battlefield disciplines. Most professional soldiers will worship either Sciliscanthe, or one of her Tribunes, and effectively all organized fighting forces will be broken into units represented by these five deities.

The Nine Reveries

The Nine Reveries preside over the nine colleges of magic. They are so-called because their parentage is uncertain and some claim them to be born of the dreams of the Mistikak. Taken even further, some will classify them as Arkinghelii, but give them power and influence of the organizations that uphold them as true Celestial Princes and Princesses, such interpretation is unpopular and in some places heretical. In any case, they are commonly worshipped by spell casters, and most magical colleges maintain large temples to one or more or these deities depending on the colleges of magic they specialize in. Certainly the largest magical colleges will have large temples to all of these deities.

The Hands of Obrum

The Hands of Obrum are the twin sons of Obrum and Alcinette, and are the gods of construction and the trades, respectively. Zorion is said to have laboured for a year to construct the White Citadel - the home of the Celestials made from platinum and diamond. Zuhaitz is the armourer of the Gods and is said to have made all of their weapons, armour and equipment, rendering them invulnerable.
