Zuzen Hilargizeta-Paulizeta-Estiz
Zuzen Hilargizeta is an ancient old white haired gnome, of perhaps 300 years, though he is still spry as a fox, if not a little bit confused. He dresses in a strange elaborate clothes, brightly coloured, and will never be wearing the same thing twice. A typical suit for him would be a pink silk shirt with red cuffs and collars stitched with silver wire as fine as thread, over this might be a white tail coat with red piping big silver buttons. His knee breeches might have one leg done in red and pink check and the other done in pink and white checks, with one white silk stocking and one red. His shoes would be wrapped in silver leaf with red stiching and ivory buckets.
If allowed to answer questions freely, Zuzen will blather on endlessly without ever coming to a point. If he can be urged to focus on answering a specific question, the player characters may be able to get an answer (otherwise the Director will need to improvise).
Zuzen Hilargizeta can normally be found at the Zuzen Fine Tailors.
TOPIC: Cosutanu 200 years ago
Given Zuzen Hilargizeta's great age, the characters may inquire if he remembers anything about Cosutanu from a period around 200 years ago.

Two hundred years, eh? Two hundred. Hm... now let me see. That would be 1223 - so you mean the first two decades of the 13th Century. Ah yes, what a strange and turbulent time...the Kingdom, you see, had only been dissolved some forty or so years previously, and all the disentitled nobles were scrambling to move their money around. Oh, what a great time to be a young tailor... everyone had someone to impress and everyone, of course, of course, needed to look sharp! I had several shops back then... one in Bulostioi, of course, of course, but also...
Here Zuzen will go on a tangent, talking about nearly every major city in Tulosz and how he either had a shop there, or didn't, or was planning to open one, or had recently closed one - if the players don't interupt, he'll go on for an hour before finally arriving at the point that he did not even arrive in Cosutanu until he had completed his trip around the globe in 1402 and decided to settle here with his three wives, Cerys, Dilys, and Aylys who he met in Waeyron...
So you see, I have no idea what this darling little burg was like prior to 1402, but I must say, it certainly has not been the same since our arrival!
TOPIC: worn area on Danut Procop's pants
If the players inquire about the worn area on the left leg of Danut Procop's pants which they may have recovered from Ul Grau E Rota, Zuzen will regale them with a long, twisting tale that goes nowhere.

Ahhh! Ahhh! Yes, I see... you know this reminds of the time I was commissioned to make the wedding vestments for the Ducele Dornliu of Szninida. Oh, the wedding was to be such a grand affair - some eight hundred guests if I recall - and after that first fitting with the Ducele, well, as you can imagine, word got around of course, of course, and I had a line out my door and down the street. In truth it was a line to my door - which, as you can imagine was quite small, and so many of the guests were tauran. But I digress! Indeed, in addition to the nuptual vestments of the good Ducele, I was commissioned by perhaps two hundred others - with only three months to do all that work! Absurd!
Here Zuzen will go on a tangent, talking about all two hundred or so different customers who were commissioning suits or gowns from him. He will pay particular attention - if he gets that far - to mention the officers from the Ducele's former cavalry platoon and the fine leather breeches he made for all of them, though he will not actually mention the bit about the mace unless reminded that that is the point of the story. At the end, or if they can push him to answer the question, he'll tell them;...
Oh yes... right... did I skip the important bit? It's reinforcement in the pants for someone who prefers to carry a mace - which is usually hooked to the belt thus (he demonstrates) and sways behind the leg, often rubbing here, and wearing through the fabric. Oh, and the black staining is caused by silver, which tarnishes black and can stain fabrics. I would therefore expect the wearer of these pants to be a canis man who carries a silvered mace. You're welcome.
