Upper Chamber

 

The Upper Chamber contains eight sarcophagi, plus another one in the corridor leading to the Last Chamber. Seven of the nine are emptied, with the piles of bones of devoured corpses mixed with sulphur dust strewn across the floor. The remaining two have only recently been opened and two ghouls each are gathered to feast on the exhumed corpses. As with the ghouls in the lower chamber, these ghouls are likely to have already been alerted by the ghouls fighting or fleeing in the Chamber of Obrum, in which case, they will be organizing the Ghoul Swarm encounter with the rest of the ghouls.
