Vlodolea Apothecary
Cosutanu’s Apothecary is a tall, narrow wooden building with trellises running up all sides supporting ivy and other creeping plants which play home to dozens of birds nests and wind chimes, filling the street with a quiet cacophony of bird song and twinkling sounds.
The apothecary is run by an old spriggan who superficially seems to be profoundly knowledgeable in nature magic, shamanism and alchemy. Any knowledgable questioning from an actual magician, however, will reveal that Vlodolea is nothing but a merchant, interested only in saying what needs to be said to close a deal.
Vlodolea trades in all sorts of charms, oils, elixirs, trinkets, crystals and potions. They will propose a remedy for any complaint, and with any purchase will offer significant discounts on spirital realignment, rebalancing of humours or a range of other consulting services that will accomplish nothing... but hey, 30% off.
Despite Vlodolea's questionable ethics, stock here is very low, and prices have been jacked up owing to the desperation and fear of the local population in face of the recent outbreak, and the inability to replenish stock while under quarantine.
Those who speak Tuloszian will recognize that Vlodolea’s adopted name means ‘Yellow Road’ in Comerta, which is also the name of a road that runs south of out town.
