Lumanaru Candles & Soaps

 

Lumanaru Candles & Soaps is located in a small two story wooden building with wood trim and shutters decorated in carved floral patterns and painted in bright colours. Around the back is a small, fragrant floral garden harvested for performing their oils and soaps. The shop deals principally in beeswax candles and flax oil, which is pressed in the back half of the building from locally grown flax seed. They also produce cooking oils, lubricants, soaps and perfumes. Octaviu and Horliss Lumanaru and their family live in the back of the shop and in an apartment above it.
