The Mythmaster RPG NPC Guide is intended to serve as a resource for Director's and players alike. Characters in Mythmaster can have a huge array of skills and abilities, and it is always useful for a Director to know what a given randomly encountered NPC can do.

What is the Haggling skill of a typical merchant? What is a typical carriage armed with, and what are their weapon skills in case they are attacked? Such information will inevitably come in handy, but havign to have it all prepared in advance is an unnecessary burden for the Director.

Aside from these sorts of typical NPCs, however, what about other adventurers - characters who might end up accompanying the players on their quests, or who might end up opposed to them? Or what happens if a new player shows up on game night without a character and wants to join in?
