Mummy

Description:

Mummies are - in a sense - accidental Liches who were created by the priests who embalmed them. Like Liches, they can use the weapons and magical spells they could use in life, but unlike Liches, they are typically suffering in their undead form, rather than relishing in it. The appearance of a mummy can vary tremendously based on the culture and the specific techniques used to create them. Some Mummies are bandaged-wrapped, desiccated corpses, others are hard to distinguish from Bogmen, and some seem to look uncannily alive; with only their lifeless, withered eyes and the scars on the bodies from where their organs were removed giving away their true nature. Many Mummies are ornately dressed, wearing decorative armour, and carrying finely wrought or enchanted weapons.

Special:

Mummies are immune to normal weapons, poison, and disease though Blessed weapons do +25% damage to them. Their own weapons and armour are considered magical. In life, most Mummies were powerful mages, and they will use their magic and special abilities to gain a decisive advantage against those who would disturb their eternal rest.
