Lich

Description:

Liches are the triumphal forms of necromancers, who have succeeded in tethering their souls to the mortal plane, allowing them to persist beyond death. Liches are extremely dangerous, and bent on the murder and enslavement - as undead - of all living things. A Lich cannot be permanently destroyed unless its soul is untethered from the mortal plane, by undoing whatever magic the necromancer performed prior to their death and rebirth.

Special:

Liches are immune to normal weapons, poison, and disease though Blessed weapons do +25% damage to them. Their own weapons and armour are considered magical. Having been mages in life - often powerful warriors as well - Liches are extremely powerful spell casters. They will prefer to use their magical abilities to deal with those who oppose them first, before turning to their also formidable combat skills.
