Managast

Description:

A Managast is a bizarre creature that resembles a large hand that has been severed at the wrist. Where the wrist was severed, there is a circular mouth with a ring of razor sharp teeth, and in the palm of the hand is a single, large eye. How these creatures fly and cast spells is entirely unknown, They often attack in swarms ranging from only a few to over a dozen, and while an individual is not usually a threat, a group of them flying in to claw, bite and choke their enemies while others flit around casting spells in support, can be a very dangerous event.

Special:

Because a Managast is only a single ‘hand’ it must choose each turn between using a single Claw attack, a Bite, or a grab using its Constrict attack. As with all Constrict attacks, the first attack must be an attempt to Entangle using the Effect Attack. Uniquely, because the mouth of the Managast is in the base of the wrist, once Entangled, the Managast performs 21 Challenges against a helpless target to apply either Fast or Strong Bite damage instead of Constrict damage.
