Chrysaloid
Description:
A Chrysaloid is a short, stocky, bipedal insectoid with a thick exoskeleton, sharp mandibles, vicious claws, and a retractable stinger that protrudes forward between its legs from the base of its abdomen.
Special:
The sting of a Chrysaloid can implant a clutch of eggs in the wound of the victim. These will hatch after a few days, and the pupae will then find their way into the host’s digestive tract where they will grow until they are large enough to force their way out of the host - usually killing them.
