Cancarian

Description:

Cancarians are large, nasty crustaceans that love to feast on sailors. They are large, crab-like creatures with elongated bodies, with their lower four appendages acting principally as legs, and their upper four appendages acting principally as pincer-like claws. Cancarians stalk harbours, often in small pods of 3-4, looking for anchor chains to climb. Climbing the chain, they will secure themselves to the hull and wait for the ship to put to sea before climbing upon deck to feast. While they are not intelligent and cannot use weapons, they are extremely tough and a few of them can wipe out an entire crew. It is worth noting that Cancarians are also rumored to be very delicious, and sailors tales and sea shanties abound of vessels that were set upon by Cancarians at dawn, and whose heroic crews feasted upon succulent Cancarian meat for days.

Special:

With four, wide, crab-like legs, Cancarians are impossible to trip or knockdown, and with their four arms, they can make up to four attacks per turn in any direction, and perform twice the number of Parries before incurring penalties.
