Description:

Blobs are strange, amorphous creatures, made of a thick, viscous translucent liquid - usually a kind of translucent, foggy pink - though they have been reported in a surprisingly diverse range of colors. These formless creatures slither and ooze aimlessly over the ground, climbing up the walls, and seeping through the tiniest cracks. They emit a fairly strong, sweet odor that attracts insects and some rodents, and tiny victims bespeckle the surface of any blob.

Blobs are carnivorous and will attack any animal they can - regardless of size. They will envelope their victims, choking or suffocating them, while slowly dissolving them and digesting them whole.

Special:

Blobs cannot take damage from being struck - making them immune to all normal weapons, and even immune to the striking effect of magical weapons; for example, a magical Long Sword that does +2 Fast Damage would do only 2 damage with a hit, not 2d4+2+2. Blobs are also totally immune to disease and poisons of any kind. They take +50% damage from fire and frost based attacks.

A blob attacks by using its Constrict Attack and attempting to Entangle the victim. As with all Constrict attacks, the first attack must be an attempt to Entangle using the Effect Attack, after which, each turn that the victim does not escape, the Blob can roll a 21 Challenge against a helpless target to apply either Fast or Strong Constrict damage.
