Centaur

Description:

A Centaur is a chimeric creature with the lower body of a horse and the upper body of a humanoid (of any gender or species). They are highly intelligent, skilled in battle, and compelled to wander the open wilds. They are nomadic and are very rarely encountered in civilized contexts, though they are social creatures, and if they choose to, they can engage in complex societies.

There is no coverage in the Core Rules for Centaurs as a playable species, though if the Director wishes to allow it, they could be considered Tauran - though a number of rule modifications may be required to support it.

If they are a playable species, they should be created as full NPCs, each with their own class and skills, and this entry should not be used to describe them.

Special:

Centaurs are skilled warriors and occasional magic users. Their larger than normal weapons and their physical size and speed give them a decisive advantage over most humanoids in a stand-up fight.
