Anima And Spirits

Anima are not only the spirits of physical things and places, but also the spirits of concepts, ideas, and places. Water has a spirit, but so also may a river or a lake. A pool in which someone was drowned may also have a spirit, as may their desire to seek revenge. Spirits may be transient or eternal, and may or may not care to pay attention or to involve themselves in the affairs of mortals.
