Banshee
Description:
These eerie spirits take on the form of ghostly women dressed in hazy black robes. Their wails and cries are said to portend the coming of death, and the sounds of a wailing Banshee will typically be heard before the creature is seen. Their unsettling cries have a range of disorienting magical effects that the Banshee uses to protect itself. If a Banshee can be avoided and left alone, it is often harmless, but the fear of impending death often draws humanoids to hunt them down in hopes of avoiding the portended suffering… an approach that often makes the predictions self-fulfilling.

If potential threats persist, the Banshee will attempt to disorient opponents by making them Lost so they cannot escape, and then wearing them down with its other spells. A Banshee will void physical conflict until its opponents are unable to fight, at which point it will use its Zap spell, which manifests as a bloodcurdling scream, to finish off its victims. Banshees are often associated with a place or a family or sometimes a specific person, and as such, they have some Shaman Subclass abilities that will impact their tactics:
