Faefolk

 

Faefolk are the ancient and forgotten gods of nature whose reign over the world predates the existence of mortals. These gods draw their power from the wilderness and from the natural elements and forces that shape it. Faefolk are eternal, but also exist in exile and isolation from a world transformed by the continuous march of civilization and progress. Faefolk are distrustful of humanoids and their societies, and may be resentful, or even openly hostile toward those whose exploitation and domination of the natrual world has robbed the fae of their power and place.
