Giant: Faestruck
Select Subtype:
Description:
Unlike the standard humanoid faestruck, who are similar in appearance to normal humanoid species, faestruck giants do not appear to be some kind of fae hybird with other, more standard giantkind. These are extremely uncommon, and very few have ever seen a faestruck giant - it is presumed they only exist when the fae are united and mass toward a common goal, which is a once-an-epoch event.
Faestruck giants are more capable magic users than other humanoid faestruck, and they will supplement their combat tactics with a judicious use of spells.
Special:
Faestruck giants are immune to poison and disease.
Variants:
Fae giants are towering figures with pale green skin decorated with spiraling fractal patterns of darker green. They have a thick, bark-like skin that grows everywhere on their bodies, almost like armour, making them as durable as they are strong and fast.
Thorn
Faestruck thorn giants are the smallest of their kind, but still stand up to 4 or 5 meters in height. They are almost exclusive found in service of a fae laird - usually the lower ranked Invicti and Domini, who they serve as squires or wards.
Briar
Larger than thorn giants, faestruck briar giants tower up to 6 meters in height. These may fight in service of more powerful fae lairds, such as Antiqui or Aeterni, or they may be freed of service, to fight as the heads of their own legions of thornlings or briarwards.
Woden
Woden giants are almost unstoppable, and in their physical might they are a match for even the Fae Antiqus. While they may find themselves sharing common interests with powerful fae lairds, they act in their own interests, and serve none.
