Description:

Dryads are the living spirits of trees and woods. They are magical, faerie creatures that are often confused or mistaken for living plant creatures like spriggan, eoten, or mandragge, or for other faefolk, such as the larger and more powerful wodewose. They are more humanoid in appearance than most plant creatures; with androgynous features, slight frames, and neutral skin tones with a subtle bark-like texture. Their hair is greenish in the spring and summer, but can shift into bright yellows, reds and oranges before falling out each winter - like the colors of autumn leaves. They do not wear clothing or use tools or weapons.

Dryads usually avoid humanoids, but will protect the woods and forests from harm, and will attempt to chase unwanted humanoids away.

Special:

Dryads are immune to all normal weapons, poison and disease, but they take +100% damage from flame attacks. They will attempt to avoid physical combat at all costs, and will rely principally on magic if forced to fight.
