Celestial Knight

Description:

Celestial Knights are the warrior champions of the Celestial host. Clad in silvery scaled armour, and radiating light, their entire purpose is to expose wickedness to the purifying light of truth, and to eradicate evil through the imposition of divine justice. Stoic, stalwart, and indefatigable, Celestial Knights are fearsome warriors who will charge into battle and fight tirelessly to meet their objectives. It is through victory in battle that Celestial Knights win glory and recognition, but this battle-forging also exposes them to the compromises and complexities of Celestial politics. The greatest Celestial Knights aspire to be Angels, and in these early aspirations are sown the seeds of their potential downfall. Celestial Knights cannot fly like the Angels and Arkangels above them, but they are sometimes known to ride Pegasi as steeds.

Special:

Celestial Knights are immune to normal weapons, poison and disease, though weapons Blessed by Infernal worshipping Priests do +25% damage to them. Their own weapons and armour are considered magical. As with other Celestials, Knights radiate light from their bodies at will. This light cannot be used to attack or blind, but they are immune to the effects of darkness - magical or otherwise. Celestial Knights are not immortal, and can be destroyed, but they will never die of age or illness.
