Roc

Description:

A Roc as an enormous, majestic bird of prey with a wingspan of about 20 meters. They are large enough to pluck horses from the ground the way other birds of prey snatch rodents - and they do. As apex predators, even a single Roc can transform the ecological balance of an entire region. If a Roc chooses to settle too close to a humanoid settlement, it will usually be aggressively hunted as a precautionary measure.
