Mule

Description:

These domesticated pack animals can bear heavy loads over rough terrain for 16 hours a day. Mules can also be ridden as mounts, but they are slower than horses. However, they are extremely sure-footed, and over difficult or treacherous terrain a mule may be a better choice than many other faster mounts.

Mules can carry heavy loads up to 75 Bulk. A specialized pannier, fitted for a mule can compress 200 Bulk into a 150 Bulk load, which is then halved due to the mule's Strong Back perk, allowing them to carry much more than the base load.

Mules cannot be to be trained for mounted combat.
